A Kaospilot indeed

I've finished my final written and oral exam at the KP and the only thing left before take-off is evaluation and the finishing ceremony on the 15th of June.

Cover of my final exam report on our project Innovation Battle

I wrote a little post on the last days at school on our friend-blog, den ytre sirkel. It's in Norwegian, but there's pictures if you don't get the language.

Delicious breakfast and a cool commercial

Ahh.. this is the way to start the day. After having slept as long as we wanted to, Torhild and I decided to treat ourselves with a nice breakfast. When Emmery's was full we walked over to Under Engle which is a really nice ecological place.

Torhild had a sandwich with avocado, brie, olive paste, salad and tapas. I had a delicious soup with cream, white wine, some goat cheese'ish thing and lots of different spices. I had some hot toddy and a whiskey. Just beautiful.

I also bought a new notebook and started scribbling in it right away. I love Ordning och reda.

When the last spoon of soup was gone, Torhild wanted to find the perfect Brownie. We didn't really find the perfect one, but we found a couple of good ones.

And then the cool commercial. It's a Quicksilver commercial by Saatchi in Copenhagen. Dynamite surfing in the Danish capital.

03.02.07 - New and old notebook

..and then some Indian

After school and champagne, Jon came around to pick up all our boxes. Amazingly we managed to fit ten boxes and different smaller objects into his car which is a load off our backs. When this was done Rolf Arne came around to work a bit on our contract with Clockwork before we met up with a bunch at an Indian place just down the street.

After some Cobra beers and several courses we headed over to Engelen where Daniel from Team 13 was introducing his newly composed cocktails. Nice. Herbal Verde was crowned as the perfect basil drink.

Last 'real' day at school

02.02.07 - Visualisation of principles for the final project

We had our last day together as a team before getting our final projects going. After that we will only have a couple of days together, evaluating and saying goodbye. It feels rather strange that these three years soon will be over.

02.02.07 - Champagne, music and good byes!

Feeling better and packing to move

Still quite sore and unwell, but getting better. Jon has been so kind to bring some of our stuff up to Oslo where it will be kept in my loving parents basement. Since Jon is leaving tomorrow night and we've got school tomorrow, we had no choice but to fill ten cardboard boxes tonight.

01.02.07 - Torhild helps by packing a shot glass

02.02.07 - Boxes, floor and past midnight

Tuesday night in our apartement

After a day learning about innovation, culture and leadership from Anders Drejer (Århus School of Business) and then having the first hours of final-exam-preporatory chit chat with Bjarne - it was nice to bring together some good friends, eat sushi and drink beer.

23.01.07 - Delicious sushi and Linn in the middle
23.01.07 - Pouria is trying to read Malous thoughts. Torhild is impressed
23.01.07 - Torhild and Jo lurking
23.01.07 - Jo brushing, pressing and posing

Once upon a time..

I predicted yesterday that this would be a good party.. and boy was I right!
19.01.07 - Two cats on their way to the party

19.01.07 - Two tired people on their way out for some groceries the day after

.. and here are some pictures from the actual party!

Jon said yes and we're ready to party!

Probably the two most beautiful men in Amsterdam this spring

The last days I've sort of been waiting to hear if Jon would be interested in doing his final exam project together with me i Amsterdam. Two days ago he finally said 'yes' - for now. We are meeting the guys from Clockwork in Amsterdam on Thursday to discuss the project. After this meeting we will take a final decision on wether we want to do it or not. But for now - JOHO!! or JOHO AND JOHON!

I'm usually a bit tired by the end of the week

My team is arranging it's last party at the KP tonight. The theme is fairytales and me and Torhild are dressing up as cats. To be more concrete, the fairytale is Alice in Wonderland. I'm Alices cat before she goes to Wonderland, and Torhild is the Cheshire Cat - which sort of is the fairytale version of 'me'.

Torhild has quite a bit to live up to, cause this must be the coolest, craziest cat in Wonderland!

17.1.07

Threesome

Today we have split into groups of three and talked about our projects. What are our challenges? What time frames do we have? What do we wish for? And how do we get there?

17.01.07 - Jon and Julie were my coaching partners today

After lunch we had a gathering and I announced me and Torhilds wedding-gift-plans. Hang tight for an extensive explanation of this project later!

..In the meanwhile check out the hot dude with the hot hat!

17.01.07 - Jorg was in a threesome with Jorg and Jorg.. How freaky is that!?

16.1.07

Uffe and the iPhone

This day has been really long. From nine to seven we've been presenting our projects and getting feedback on them from Uffe (our principal for the un-enlightened). Trying to concentrate, look interested and think of what to say about the project you might do, but isn't sure about and that might not happen, at the same time, can be pretty hard.

16.01.07 - Uffe is giving feedback to Haakon, Måns appears to be thinking (but it might be a pose)

There's been a lot of hazzle about the iPhone after it was released. There seems to be no limit to what it can do. But today I came over a video clip that shows what it can't do.

Torhild on preject trip

As most of you probably know, Torhild is spending three months in Vancouver this spring. Her whole class is going there to get some new perspectives on what Kaospilots have to offer the world and also what life is about in general. Before they embark on this journey they're going to clarify some goals and principles, and they've chosen to do this at a place outside Århus called Mols-something.

16.01.07 - Torhild on her way down the stairs in Rosenkrantzgade

I got to follow her to the bus and spend some extra time at school..

16.01.07 - Jo eats his breakfast at school

15.1.07

A day in the name of gospel

Is there a better way to start a Monday than by singing gospel tunes for six hours? "Absolutely!" some of you may say, "No way!" says the Kaospilots. Three hours later my chest is still warm and my throat is sore in a sweet way.

Here's a picture from the session

15.01.07 - Janne Wind takes the lead and three teams of KP-students follow up

and here's a long run of pictures accompanied by sound

14.1.07

Weekend counts as one

Friday evening, after a couple of hours playing a borad game with Pär, Tobbe, Johan and Martin, I walked to the train station and picked up Torhild. She had gotten a slight tan and a big palestinian scarf, but still quite recognisable.

13.01.07 - Torhild showing off some Egyptian dance while waiting for pizza at Il Mercatino

14.01.07 - On our way home from Cinemaxx and The Prestige, we stop to take a picture at Strøget

12.1.07

A third and eventful day

It's friday, the weather is pretty nice and Torhild is returning from Egypt!

12.01.07 - The Kaospilot Libary, where creative spelling goes to study

12.01.07 - Curious Louise in The Libary

12.01.07 - Rebus in the cellar of Café Smagløs

11.1.07

Day II - still going strong

11.01.07 - Article feedback and lecture with Nils G. Indahl

Last semester in Panorama

My plan is now to take at least one panorama picture every day for the rest of this last semester at the KP. Starting yesterday.

10.01.07 - Kitchen life
