A long and painful stay at Kastrup

Torgersen is back in Europe. After some fifteen - twenty hours of traveling, I'm now at Kastrup waiting for my plane to Amsterdam. Long journey.

I've had some fantastic days in Vancouver and Seattle, me and Torhild had a little bit of illness in our team the last week, but yesterday we shook it off and joined T12s tour de chambres. The themes were Christmas, baby shower, Team 11, Japan and mental institution. Here is some photo evidence and a couple of other pictures from before, after and in-between.

Chronological order or tastefulness is not guaranteed.

Vancouver and Seattle

I've been nine days in Vancouver and Seattle. Here are some pictures from my stay so far. It's been a fantastic vacation so far. The next week will be more work-oriented. I will work on how we shall use the internet to strengthen our project and have meetings with different relevant persons.

But here are the pictures.

Jo in Vancouver

Last weekend was fantastic with Martin, Kaspar, Henrik and Bjørn visiting from Bergen. We did everything four gentlemen in the Capital of Sin should do - and think thats all we need to say about that matter.
And now, less than one week later, I'm in beautiful Vancouver with Torhild and the rest of Team 12. The flight over went really smoothly, much thanks to an inspiring and bright-minded seventeen-year-old from Munich and too little sleep prior to the journey.

The two days I've been in Vancouver, have been spent getting over the jet-lag, enjoying Torhilds company and shopping for vintage tees.

Back from Amsterdam

Pfiuu! It has been a very adventurous weekend. Business and pleasure molded beautifully together.

Jon and I set off to Amsterdam to find out if we would like to do our final exam project there. The project is for now called Amsterdam Innovation Battle 2007 and will explore an alternative way to solve social issues and giving the process an entertaining schwung and form at the same time.. We will give Theo and the other guys at Clockwork our answer on Wednesday. So it's exciting times.

There are so many factors to consider when deciding. One of them might be your work surroundings. In that case Amsterdam and Clockwork would definitely be a - yes! Amsterdam is great and Clockworks office space is in a rebuilt church! I can vividly imagine taking a break from work, looking up at the hand-painted church ceiling and enjoying an espresso in Clockworks own coffe bar. Nice.

MC Miker G and DeeJay Sven have also been to Amsterdam. I'm guessing this crew is not where 50 Cent found his inspiration.

Chuck Norris and leaving for Amsterdam

I'm off to Amsterdam for a meeting with a possible customer for my final exam project. The company is called Clockwork and their website is in dutch. I'll tell you more about my trip and Clockwork during or after this weekend.

In the meantime.. and I mean MEAN time..

I'm a sucker for Chuck Norris jokes, so I was very happy (and a bit scared) when I came across this video where he shares the top 10 of them.

"Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants."

Here are more true facts about mister Norris.

Travelling in past, present and future

Yesterday i left Norway and Oslo, and moved my ass to exotic Aarhus in Denmark where I'll be staying for a month, figuring out how I should spend my last semester at the KP. I've got a standing offer from NRK and I'm in a dialogue with Clockwork in Amsterdam, but I haven't decided yet..

Oslo International Airport - Gardermoen

Even though I'm not sure where I will spend the next semester, I have booked one flight. March 29th I'm off to Vancouver to visit my beautiful Torhild for two weeks. Nice. I really enjoyed San Francisco last year and can't wait to experience Vancouver!
