The last days I've sort of been waiting to hear if Jon would be interested in doing his final exam project together with me i Amsterdam. Two days ago he finally said 'yes' - for now. We are meeting the guys from Clockwork in Amsterdam on Thursday to discuss the project. After this meeting we will take a final decision on wether we want to do it or not. But for now - JOHO!! or JOHO AND JOHON!

I'm usually a bit tired by the end of the week

My team is arranging it's last party at the KP tonight. The theme is fairytales and me and Torhild are dressing up as cats. To be more concrete, the fairytale is Alice in Wonderland. I'm Alices cat before she goes to Wonderland, and Torhild is the Cheshire Cat - which sort of is the fairytale version of 'me'.

Torhild has quite a bit to live up to, cause this must be the coolest, craziest cat in Wonderland!

A chance for you to do something good!

The 2nd of November I asked Torhild to marry me. For some reason she said yes. This has certain implications. We've had to find a church, a priest, a place to have the party, a photographer, Torhild had to find a wedding dress and I had to find a place where they sell medieval armors.
When you get married, you also get a shit load of presents. Presents we really don't need since we're among the five percent of the richest people on earth. Because of this we made a decision - and a rather good one, we think - to spend these present-money in a better way.
We want to find a great project that in some way will make the world a better place to live for someone less fortunate than us, and give all the money to this. But.. who should we give the money to?

Uffe and the iPhone

This day has been really long. From nine to seven we've been presenting our projects and getting feedback on them from Uffe (our principal for the un-enlightened). Trying to concentrate, look interested and think of what to say about the project you might do, but isn't sure about and that might not happen, at the same time, can be pretty hard.

There's been a lot of hazzle about the iPhone after it was released. There seems to be no limit to what it can do. But today I came over a video clip that shows what it can't do.

Torhild on preject trip

As most of you probably know, Torhild is spending three months in Vancouver this spring. Her whole class is going there to get some new perspectives on what Kaospilots have to offer the world and also what life is about in general. Before they embark on this journey they're going to clarify some goals and principles, and they've chosen to do this at a place outside Århus called Mols-something.

Dilja and Napoleon

Yesterday I referred to a list of the ten best opening sequences of a film. Dilja commented that the Napoelon Dynamite opening credits should have been on the list. I couldn't really do anything about the list, but found the clip and here it is.



It can be added that every meal presented in this opening sequence is eaten by one of the characters during the movie. Click here to see some nice bloopers from the shooting of the film!

And while we're at it. Napoleon Dynamite is based on a short film by the same director and with the same lead actor. The wonderful world of YouTube let’s us see it.

A day in the name of gospel

Is there a better way to start a Monday than by singing gospel tunes for six hours? "Absolutely!" some of you may say, "No way!" says the Kaospilots. Three hours later my chest is still warm and my throat is sore in a sweet way.

The opening credits we love

The first minutes of a film is usually spent crediting some of the people who have contributed to making it. These can be boring minutes or brilliant ones. Laboratory 101 has put down what they think are the ten best opening credit sequences ever, and you can see them here.

Submarine Channel is trying to gather all of the best title sequences in an online archive. It's not very extensive yet, but it's a pretty cool initiative.

Weekend counts as one

Friday evening, after a couple of hours playing a borad game with Pär, Tobbe, Johan and Martin, I walked to the train station and picked up Torhild. She had gotten a slight tan and a big palestinian scarf, but still quite recognisable.
